Dandelions

These dandelions at a local nature reserve are all going to seed now. Plenty of seeds for next year and for whichever birds eat them (if any do) in the meantime. It was a bit of a dull day for a walk, but good to get out for a while.

I'm just coming to the end of a re-read of one of Anthony Trollope's series of Barchester novels. I started the first of these a few weeks ago to tide myself over when I was waiting for an ordered book to arrive, and immediately rediscovered how good an author he is. Now I'll have to read all twelve Barchester/Palliser novels again, which will be a delight (it already is - I'm almost halfway through).
