High and Dry in the Sun

This is the promised high and dry picture. After five days of snow, rain and freezing weather we finally saw the sun this morning. A good opportunity to take this picture. The hull of the vessel is spotblasted with grit and a thin layer of repairprimer have been already applied on these spots. Next will be a complete layer of primer.

Tomorrow it will be Christmas and we will have a very busy day then because we will go into drydock. Christmas is not a holiday here in Turkey because 99% of the population is moslim. Work will go on like on any other day. We will have our christmas the day after tomorrow, hopefully not too much disturbed by work.
