Cumbria Here I Come

By marpaul

A surprise this morning, woke up to light rain!   Walked a section of the Mawddach Trail earlier.  Its a very popular walk with cyclists and walkers, probably because is flat!  Once upon a time it was a railway line, hence the old signals in the blip.  Oh the bridge you can see is an old toll road which surprisingly is quite well used.  Left the trail and walked in some beautiful woods, lots up up and downhill.

Had planned to go home via Bodnant Gardens in the morning as they are stunning but.... having checked online about dogs, they are only allowed on a Wednesday evening in the summer time.  Am a bit gutted.  They are allowed every day in the winter which is when I usually go but once a week on a Wednesday evening in the summer doesn't make sense to me :(
