OLD AND OLDER

I had an errand in Durham today (which meant missing the chance of meeting meles in Newcastle), and parked opposite these two. The building on the left is the Dun Cow pub, which dates in part to the 15th century - though I think the TV aerials are later ;-) - and the Masonic Hall on the right was founded in 1868.

I spotted a Wall Brown butterfly later in the afternoon. (Extra.)
