44 years and counting

Our 44th year of marriage celebrated today, mostly by being on our own.
Julia took the twins to Johannas house for the day and didn't come back until nearly 1700 when it was time to start getting them ready for bath and bed.

It's no miracle that we've lasted 44 year years together, Marlane is such a wonderful wife in so many ways, mostly in her saintly patience with me!
Even when there is DIY to do she is the one who knows the best, and correct, way to do it and gives me endless advice, usually beginning with "Can I make a suggestion" :-)
