Smudge...

Meet Smudge, our Advent Elf on the Shelf. He appeared with a book explaining his origins on the 1st of December.

Smudge was named thus by Bethany and Ewan as per his instructions and he keeps a beady eyes on the kids in the run up to christmas. Nobody is allowed to touch him as this could remove his magic but Smudge heads back up to the North Pole every night to report to Santa and help him keep his lists up to date. Consequently he seems to be in a different place every morning.

Smudge seems to be the one that fills the advent calendar every morning but occasionally, if things don't fit in the advent calendar, he leaves clues to a treasure hunt. Tonight he is setting up his magnum opus treasure hunt.
