Sun to shade

What a day. Another very early start - porridge in the office at 7am -clearing through stuff before a phone meeting then a couple of tricky other ones. The afternoon was supposed to be quiet to finish the annual pay reviews but there was a fair bit of frantic coordination to be done before I nipped down to town to get some walking sandals and other bits and pieces for my trip tomorrow.
Chatted to A on her way to work tonight then to L&M about their proposed trip up here. They were going to bring Grandad with them but have decided my stairs will be too much for him so we’ll maybe plan something later and get a hotel room for him. At least he’s doing well now he’s living with them and enjoying their garden, M’s cooking and the odd G&T (don’t we all!). Getting sorted this evening - I need to write a list!
