It has been a busy week. Met Monday with the group to save our rec,  Tuesday went to meeting about neighbourhood centre threatened with closure as part of our rec development.  Wednesday meeting with councillors and developers - got heated as they attempted to tell us the rec needs drainage as it floods-it doesn't!, then they would put in a dog walking path-apparently special surface- we said happy with grass, landscaping-no we've already got some. They were not getting our message. Keep your drainage rec and do not build on green space.
Four hours at meetings last night: a shadow investigation into regional experience of planning and one on the Local Plan.
Shattered and chilling this weekend. 
On a plus note our campaign hit the Local paper's front page. One key inaccuracy 3x5-storey not 3-storey.
