Lilly and Rose

A friend nearby has a field in front of her house.  These two horses (Lilly - the white one and Rose the brown one) had been abandoned by their owners - twice.  So, they feed them and pay for the vet to check them over from time to time.  Luckily, the farmer who owns the field can't use it for crops because it is too uneven and formed part of an old quarry.  He is happy for them to stay there as long as needed and even pops by to cut back the weeds.  They seem very happy.
