Under the Arch

Our second full day in Paris. We walked up to Sacré-Cœur in the morning and then wandered some much quieter streets back into the busy city. We bought some baguettes to go and then took the metro to the Arc de Triomphe where we sat in the middle and ate our lunch watching the crazy traffic. Photos were taken including this one directly under the centre of the arch.

After lunch we took a boat ride down to Notre Dame which is probably as close a view as you can get right now, lots of activity and scaffolding.

Back to the hotel and then we were out again for a lovely dinner and a great catch-up with some very good friends who live here in the city.
