My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess,
There was talk of going to see John Wick 3 at the cinema today. Because GUNS and DOGGIES and IAN MCSHANE.
But it all came to naught. Caro is very busy at the moment, and she wanted to spend this weekend working.
Let me repeat this; "wanted to spend the weekend working".
How did I end up married to this person?
So instead we watched "Jackie Brown" again. It is my favourite Quentin Tarantino film. I should qualify this by saying I don't really like Quentin Tarantino films. I find most of them reeeeeeeally long and boring, albeit with great soundtracks.
"Jackie Brown" on the other hand, is a relatively short 2 and a half hours AND it still has a great soundtrack AND it has Pam Grier being cool and awesome AND it has Bridget Fonda doing that whole "Looooo-isssssss!!" bit.
We also watched "The Upside" which is an American remake of a French film that I really liked. It is the rule of critics to always say the remake is RUBBISH compared to the original bluh bluh bluh, and they did the same with this one. So it's nice to be able to confirm that, once again, they are talking complete bollocks and that it is actually a really good movie.
In between films, Caro worked, and I cuddled kittens. As you can see, Jasper and I are quite worn out from it.
S.
