Avanti
One thing we're short of in Kirkby Lonsdale is pub gardens. There's a small one behind the Snooty Fox and a lovely little courtyard behind Number 9 but the only one of any substance is behind Avanti.
Not that it matters in the usual - i.e. cold, windy, and, especially, rainy - course of events but tonight I was meeting my friend, Hugo, for a drink after work and it seemed a shame not to sit in the evening sun. Thus, Avanti.
Dan and Abi came down to meet up with us a little later on and in the end we decided to eat there. Dan's lack of school uniform is down to the fact that he's now on study leave, although he actually has nine GCSE exams, this week. He hates revising as much as I ever did, the poor guy.
