The gift that keeps on giving.

This plant has just come out of the green house. A Gerbera that was a gift from a friend at Easter. Not this Easter, it featured in my second ever blip on Easter Monday 2010 when we had a celebratory ‘Welcome Home’ party for my son on his return from a 6 month tour do duty in Afghanistan with the Royal Engineers.
It has flowered every year since and no doubt featured on blip foto at least 10 times. Think it’s worth another blip and it is making blip history!

It was a very good gift!

I notice it has been photobombed by a few bugs, lots of greenfly in the garden. We need more ladybirds! There is a second flower to open too.
