... guarded over by Foule Crag and Sharp Edge, Blencathra.
WHAT A DAY! Wall-to-wall blue sky, with the odd harmless white cloud for variety. Almost 12 miles walked, with over 4,000ft of ascent, to take in Bowscale Fell, Bannerdale Crags, Mungrisdale Common, Blencathra and Souther Fell. 
A perfect day out.
