Countesswells Forest

After a good spell of weather it’s been raining all day today. I managed a very gentle but muddy Parkrun this morning, before taking Brodie up to Countesswells Forest this afternoon. It was damp and muddy - ideal for the pup but not for the interior of our car.
This particular area of woodland was initially planned to be flattened by the bypass but got a reprieve when the road was routed further west.
