Soldier's Service Book and discharge
Recently re-discovered document belonging to my grandfather.
The upper part is the rear and front cover.
Below are the first pages inside.
The Trade on Enlistment gives "gajowy", which is Polish for gamekeeper.
Under Religious Demonination: "rzym-kat", Polish abbreviation for Roman Catholic.
I think the weight was a mistake. Upon discharge, having only been in Britain for a few months, I doubt that he knew anything about Imperial measure and his English would have been basic, so I think the weight is meant to be 65 kg,
