On a public footpath near a river (completely out of view) near Warwick, when it was raining earlier today. The rain wasn't showing any signs of stopping, and the water seemed to be rising.

The water level in the picture here is a good two to three foot higher than usual (partly land which is similar to marshland).

The not so easy to access land in the distance is partly a natural flood plain. Bear in mind the land to the left you cannot see is also flooded - again some of it natural flood-plain.
