A Day At A Time.

By ElCid

International Day

Today was a celebration of all the different nationalities who live in the region of Manilva.

The castle at Castillo was surrounded by tents sporting flags from many different countries: as diverse as Argentina (with fantastic barbecued spare ribs on offer) to the Czech Republic, the Philippines and the Netherlands (who had more interesting things to show off than their Eurovision entry!)

The funny thing was, the only language I could hear was English. I had no idea there were so many British immigrants in the area.

The highlight of the afternoon for us was a presentation by the mayor to ADANA for our work with abandoned dogs. See extra.

Later the president, Mary Page, took us to dinner in a lovey Basque restaurant in Estepona.
