CURFEW

Public curfew was re-clamped again today 11:00 am following violent protest against the gunning down and killing of one journalist Nanao, cameraman of the Prime News yesterday while covering one of the incidents of the series of violent agitations thrown by the public since 22 Dec. 2012 as a result of the ill-treatment of one actress Momoko and also shooting (with a gun) towards two more artists by a Mr. Livingstone of the NSCN-IM rebel group, at a musical concert held at Chandel on 16 Dec. 2012.

All roads are littered with sharp pieces of glasses, bottles, stones, ashes from burnt tyres, woods etc. Stones were pelted, tear gas shells fired, mock bombs hurled, guns fired, vehicles destroyed and burnt.

The curfew did put some spell on the turmoil.
