Trapper Peak
Trapper Peak is the tallest of the Bitterroot Range. It soars to 10,157 feet and juts up over 6,000 feet from the valley floor. Looks like it will remain snow-packed until July!
6 of us are taking off tomorrow to fish the Land of the Giants on the Missouri River between Helena and Great Falls. The trout are legendary in this stretch and great fighters. It's going to be rainy and cold (45-50 degrees) so it should be good fishing! What a way to celebrate my birthday.....freezing with friends and bragging about the one that got away!
