Festival
It has been a really brilliant day at the 26th Rickmansworth Festival.
The main is two really lovely barge folk who were just so friendly.
There was so much going on that I can't post all the photos I've taken or I will use up all my extras. With barges from all over the UK from modern to old (the oldest was Gerald Nos 13 built in 1897) and all so colourful and unique.
What made it such a great day were the characters that live and work on these boats. Some of the craft work, needle work, metal work, sculptures, paintings being sold from the barges was amazing.
Fantastic music from the musicians on the barges to the staged entertainment and that was just on the towpath and the locks, inside the Aquadrome it continued around the lakes.
Everyone was just so nice and chilled, sharing stories about their lifestyle and way of life.
Totally knackered and it's not often I hit 20,000 steps in a day.
Take care everyone.
