The Whole World.
Bit of a dull day but we managed a lovely and clean walk ( With my dogs long coats, a clean walk is very important!) We headed out to Pitstone Hill, the view here is from the Ridgeway Path. The views from the Ridgeway are wonderful looking out over the 'Vale'. The Rothschilds were /are extremely influential in the area. There are three main Rothschild mansions in the Vale, Halton House, Waddesdon Manor and Mentmore Towers. Rumour has it that although they were built many miles apart, they were built so they could see one house from another. Don't know if this is true, but they are certainly visible from many miles around the area.
Our Grandson Franky describes the view from Ridgeway as "Looking over the whole world". We think this description from a four year old is just about perfect!
