Lying in wait

I had a lovely walk up and down the moors this morning with Little Dog.  I spotted a few of these nomad bees with a couple lying in wait to lay eggs in a mining bee's burrow.

When I arrived home, I was contemplating going out on my bike when Rich texted from Malham to see if I fancied meeting him in Bolton Abbey. Cheese toastie?  Of course I did!

I put a little shift on which made a change from trundling uphill and arrived very shortly after Rich.  A great endorphin outing!
