Eared Grebe or Black Necked Grebe.

Apparently this is the commonest grebe there is but I had never seen one before. There were 6 of them swimming near the cafe on the Villeneuve end of the lake after our visit to the hides. Our visitors have had a water day today: hides, lake, and thermal baths, oh and rain too!
