Play Ball

I know very little about cricket, and have never watched a game from beginning to end, but I have to say it's a picturesque sport when played on the village ground. I went out to take a few photos at the fun fair, but didn't like anything that much, and as the cricket was on, I decided to try my luck there, and was better pleased.

No swimming today, unfortunately, as it was closed for maintenance, unexpectedly, when we got there.

Have started reading Adrian Tchaikovsky's Children of Ruin, the sequel to the fantastic Children of Time. It looks promising!
