One Swallow

Hence, no Summer yet - it is throwing down with rain as I type! 

We didn't go to Jeri's today as they were all at Alton Towers for Horatio's birthday. I hope they had a good day and hopefully I will get to see them in the week.

It was warmer, if still overcast earlier in the day and Brian and I went for a walk down by the riverbank to look for a blip. This though, is one of the first shots I took, before we were even off our street. One really sweet little swallow on a wire, wondering where his mates are.

I took other shots which were also OK, but this is my favourite!

We have watched more Big Bash rugby - some good matches to whet the appetite for the Super League Magic Weekend next week. Once again we are watching from home rather than there, despite vowing to go "next time" I definitely want to go next year, so I have a year to get both sons trained to wake themselves up in time for work and Jae to take responsibility for Minstrel!
