Sea and Sky

One of my favourite hymns is "I the Lord of sea and sky..."  The lovely light on the beach near Embleton made me  think about that.

The day started with suggestions for activities arriving from our Bedford area based tour adviser.  We have tried to do some of the activities suggested - one of which was to go to the Beach by Embleton Golf Club to see the view of Dunstanburgh Castle. That was a bit hazy and grey in the distance but the sea and sky were beautiful.

We had a lovely Blipmeet with DavidC and his Editor this morning, followed by a growing of the books in Barter's Bookshop.  i manage to not by anything.  Then we strolled through Alnwick Town, around to the castle and along the river. Lovely views of the castle from there.

John managed too persuade Kathy to walk round the point from Embleton to Low Newton - but there was a small river to be crossed first.  You might find the shot in extras useful if you want to know how the water was negotiated.
