Mum died 18 months ago and we made sure that on the nearest weekend to, what would have been,  her 82nd birthday we all got together to  raise a toast.  

Importantly, top on the discussion 'agenda', was what to to do with her ashes.  Our little family have now had time to think about what to do and consider options/implications carefully.  The four of us had different feelings about whether to scatter the ashes in this place where we have many happy memories, or whether to have a memorial plaque somewhere so there was somewhere to visit.

Taking each other's feelings and 'needs' into account, we've made a decision and can now move forward.  Emotionally hard but very important day.
