The power of water

There can be little doubt after all the flooding here in the U.K. how destructive water can be. But we all need it and men have devised some ingenious ways to supply water to cities. This blip shows how water from Roseberry reservoir is guided downwards to eventually supply Edinburgh with water. There are quite a few reservoirs locally that do the same and we visited 2 of them today on a little photographic expedition. More pictures can be seen here.
