Getting Ahead

Normally I collect our Christmas turkey and the fresh vegetables on the morning of Christmas eve. However, this year the butcher and greengrocer were open this morning, so I collected our food today. I think this is helping to spread the load: although both shops were busy, neither had queues outside the door (as there have been in previous years), but there should also be fewer people now collecting food tomorrow.

So here you see a couple of boxes of vegetables and fruit ready for our Christmas holiday. I really must find time to create some more imaginative and interesting pictures than this!
