Sea view

A lovely warm and sunny morning so we went for a short walk along the cliffs.  I was very surprised to see so much pink thrift in flower, the last few days had been bluebell dominated and now we have carpets of pink.  A relaxing start to the day before scampering back home to sort out the after effects of being away for a week.  

Later in the day I was just about to go down to the allotment to see how things were when the sky darkened and we had a very heavy hailstorm.  After this the rain persisted for several hours so good watering of the gardens.
