Cupcakes al fresco

My dear husband, Mr Sk, went out this morning, while I was at my yoga class, to buy some little cupcakes and then made the absolutely delicious butter icing to go on top - after all, what is a birthday without butter icing?! 

I feel well and truly spoilt - lots of cards and various text messages from dear friends as well as some lovely presents.  We then went to a local pub for a delicious lunch, including a complimentary glass of fizz.  And to top it all off, the sun has even put in an appearance.  What more could an old girl wish for?!
