Timeless landscape
There is only one single track road into Achiltibuie and so also only that same road out. This is on that road out, a timeless landscape (in colour in the extras) and I don't think anything here has been created by mankind so it's definitely all natural, which I think coincides with today's Mono Monday theme of ‘nature’ , with thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting. We drove back towards Ullapool and then over the Wester Ross coastal road to Gairloch (initially we would have stopped in Aultbea, but the booked hotel there has closed without warning, fortunately we did find out beforehand). Was happy to see lots of seals hanging out on rocks in the Gruinard Bay.
We're now overlooking the Gairloch Bay (see a part of the beach in the extras) and I'm hoping to be able to catch a sunset there later today.
Thanks so much for your kind comments, stars and even faves for yesterday's seascape (which was indeed slightly tilted !)
