Alliums

The white alliums are just coming out. There seem to be a lot this year, more than were originally planted, so I think the bulbs may have split, or otherwise multiplied. Unlike tulips they seem to last well over the years, just left in the ground. However, although they look good, we haven't managed to get the underplanting right, and the border itself looks rather scruffy with fading allium foliage. So we're trying to come up with a better planting scheme overall. Plenty to do this autumn I suspect.
