Stained glass
Today I took a tour of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. It included a look at the tunnels underneath, which were part of Fort Cumberland during the mid-1700s. This stained glass in the church (not beneath it) is by Louis Comfort Tiffany, the son of Charles Lewis Tiffany, founder of Tiffany & Co. Yes, that Tiffany.
There are three stained-glass pieces he made for this church, but this one's his most elaborate. Note the bright torch and the way the light radiates from it. It looks that way no matter the light outside. A thunderstorm came in, and even though it was darker, that light was still the brightest part of it.
