Monday's Mackerel Sky.

A common term for clouds displaying a rippling pattern similar to fish scales. This effect is caused by high altitude atmospheric waves. It is a lovely evening and I have been sitting in the garden, hoping to see a sunset but no luck. I will put yesterday's blip on later as I have been a day behind for some time.
