Chipping Sparrow!!

We had just returned from an early afternoon shopping trip to Trader Joe's across the Connecticut River in Hadley. I helped bring the bags in, and then I said to Marylee: "I think I'll just go out and look for birds." I stood on the back steps for a minute or so, and  saw something land on the back fence: small, fuzzy and light brown. I put  up my lens--there was this chipping sparrow. He/she stayed in the same place for 40-50 seconds, constantly hopping and turning.  I got off 60 shots (not continuous shooting); I did walk a bit closer.  Such a lovely bird.  Here's my best image--one of my favorites altogether (read the story!).
