MonoMonday: Nature

Some years ago I started aiming toward "naturescaping" on our yard; making it a  friendly place for wildlife of all sorts. I make stick piles, let weeds bloom, have pollinator "hotels", birdbaths, feeders and nesting boxes. A flock of California Quail have taken residence here - now they've mostly paired up, moving about in couples. This male quail looked like a good star for the mono.
