Five jars

On Sunday afternoon, S made some orange chutney. On Monday we opened the first one to have with our dinner. Simply superb. She had put in less chilli than the recipe suggested, and I for one am glad it was not any hotter.

It feels really good to be reusing jars (and lids) which had contained manuka honey harvested in the old style from the Waitakeres (the two with the white lids), gherkins (the black lid) and chutneys from Geraldine in South Canterbury (the other two Jars).
