Here Comes Bran

13C with sunny spells and occasional showers. Moderate WNW/W/NNW breeze.

Apothecary7's day off.

We went to Westport mid morning and walked along the beach. Just as we started off Bran the Afghan hound, who lives over near the start of Low Askomill, came along with his owner and we stopped to have a chat. Bran has not been well of late but today he was quite bouncy and seemed to enjoy meeting Fergus who dashed here and there at the end of his lead. We carried on along the length of the beach going as far as the seat by the golf course at Machrihanish Dunes, had a seat for a while, then walked back. While we had been sitting a dark cloud had been coming closer from the Islay direction and sure enough we got rained on all the way back along the beach. By the time we got back to the car the three of us had very wet left sides.

Our planned visit to Glenbarr for lunch was abandoned and we went home to get changed and dried off before lunch.

Later Apothecary7 was busy sweeping and vacuuming and painting and so on while Fergus and I carried on perfecting our main hobby of being busy doing nothing.
