Chives
Watching the Chelsea Flower Show on TV is compulsive viewing for me and it always makes me want to photograph flowers.
So that’s ideas for Blip sorted for the week :-)
wildflower yesterday and a herb today.
Left Mr P in bed and got a lift from Rebecca into Leeds so l could go to my dance class.
Got a shock when l heard that our usual teacher was ill and that Yoko Ichino ( Artistic Director of Northern Ballet) would be taking our class . We were visibly trembling before we went in and it wasn’t helped when Yoko flung the door open and announced, “Come in lambs to the slaughter!”.
Good to find out she had a sense of humour and it was an excellent lesson where we learned so much about poise and stretching.
Went to get the first bus back home and found l had a fifteen minute wait so used the time wisely and popped into the outdoor market next to the bus station.
There l bought two punnets of English strawberries, two bunches of English asparagus and a box of 40 passion fruit for £4:50!
Three dud passion fruits on inspection at home but still fabulous value. I’m going to scoop out the fruit and freeze it in in ice trays, will then use the defrosted fruit to drizzle over ice cream or meringues etc.
It will be risotto for dinner (chives sprinkled on top) with a fresh fruity pud to follow.
Feels summery.
