The youngest family .... at the moment!

Before going to collect the dogs I took a quick trip up to the loch and the swan is still sitting on her nest .... wish she'd hurry up and hatch her eggs.

The geese don't need any prompting .... every time I visit there seems to be a new family.  I didn't see and Greylags this morning but they had to be somewhere about grazing on the grass.

These are the youngest Canada Geese .... still looking very cute. The light in the extra photo is not very good but I just loved the way the older goslings and their parents were lining up at the water's edge just waiting for their turn to sail away.
