Yes, the truth has come out - the Christmas Spider is actually a very friendly FEMALE jumping spider, known to her friends as Spidey GaGa. Seymour was smitten the instant he saw her tricked out in her holiday finery. And, blushing, she accepted a bit of corn from her would-be-suitor. (And, yes, people, there ARE trees in my little world...!)

And this concludes my holiday themed nature blips - thanks for coming along for the ride and for all your comments, stars and hearts on the way. I shall salvage what I can of the outdoor decorations for next year. The creatures have all threatened agreed to come back next season ... The union has tentatively agreed. GaGa has promised Seymour a date. And there you have it.
