Point to pointing!

After a busy morning with more prepping towards the Stockjudging we headed off to the Weston and Banwell Point to Point held in the lovely hamlet of Cothelstone in the Quantocks.

What a fab evening weather wise too. Just sunshine all the way. We had a complete set of Tbay Jnrs which at one point it looked as if Mr Tbay Jnr would not have finished Silaging in time. We sponsor part of the event so once there we headed off to the Sponsors tent to enjoy a beer. Well the boys did as I once again somehow got the short straw and was driving!

As a child Cothelstone Manor was the venue for our pony club annual camp. What terrific fun we had all those years ago. Happy sunny memories of naughtily ponies , falling off and much larking about. I’m sure health and safety these days would not allow the fun we had!
