Light Bulb Moment

This house has so many different electric bulbs that it's always a challenge, when one fails, to find a replacement, in spite of having masses of spares.  This time it was a bulb in the garage which comes on automatically when the electric door is opened and no spare could be found anywhere.

We checked the number online, but it gave so many different results that we were reluctant to order any of them.  Instead we braved the pouring rain in Perth to wander round the electrical shops in the hope of success.  All the assistants were very helpful and recommended other places we might try, but to no avail.

We adjourned to The Manna House in my blip for a welcome break and lovely lunch.  It was busier when we arrived, but we ended up being the sole customers at one point and I took this hurried photo.

As we were driving home, I suggested that as a last resort we might try the local garage, two minutes from our house.  Of course, they had exactly what we needed and we returned home in triumph!  The bulb was fitted and works a treat.  At least we'll know where to go next time:-)
