Bird Day

A damp start to the day didn't put us off our trip to the Farne Islands.  We had to go and buy wooly hats and gloves as it was very cool by the harbour in Seahouses and we knew it would be much cooler out on the water.  It was.  But we had a great time, particularly when we landed on Staple Island and met the puffins.  Chantler63 put me on Pro Capture L Continuous focus tracking.  That's how I ended up with 2500 shots to edit this evening.  Exhausted now!  Anyway, I hope you like the main shot and the extra of a puffin coming in to land on top of his mates...

It really has been a fabulous day!
