Even the birds weren't flying...

This afternoon after work I headed down to the river to see what bird might be hanging around. I was surprised to see the river a foot from flood stage as we really haven't had much rain lately. With a good strong wind, I heard some birds but didn't see any and the waters were choppy. I laughed when I saw all the ducks on the dock - safely from the waves.. Even this Barn Swallow wasn't flying and allowed my to get closer than I expected..
