shingle bells, shingle bells....

Our Christmas travel plans have been thwarted by a severe attack of shingles! My poor husband is suffering and isn't up to a trip. We'd planned to go to the mainland last Saturday to spend this week with our family then waited until yesterday to see if he felt better. No luck! It's the first time since our granddaughters were born that we haven't spent Christmas with them and only the second time not with our daughter. So the presents for all the family are waiting by the stairs to be loaded in the car, and hopefully we'll be able to go by the end of the week. We'll be Face Timing tomorrow morning! Ho Ho Ho!
