The Birthday Girl

Today is Becky's birthday!  The celebration started last Thursday with their long weekend in San Diego and wrapped up today.  (We actually have another activity planned for Saturday with some of her girlfriends.  More on that later.) Today we started with massages in the morning and then lunch at a favorite place.  The Cheese Importers started about 40 years ago as exactly that, a cheese importing business.  Over the years it has evolved into a bistro and marketplace with a huge walk-in refrigerator full of hundreds of kinds of imported and domestic cheeses.  They even have a coat rack full of jackets for customers to wear as they wander through the refrigerator.  The marketplace is full of gourmet foods and all sorts of kitchen items from all over the world.  Everything is displayed beautifully in different rooms throughout the building.  After a yummy lunch, we had fun looking through all their offerings.  My blip was taken in a room full of children's items.  I love her big smile.  Tonight we had a family dinner with cake and ice cream. :-))

I am grateful for the wonderful relationship I have with my daughter!
