The World's Happiest Animal........

..................is what our cute little quokkas are known as. This one seems pretty happy with himself anyway ;-))

Our lovely neighbours called last night to see if we wanted to go to Rottnest Island on their boat, to have lunch with some mutual friends who are there for the week. It was the most perfect day. Calm waters for the trip over and even calmer on the way home. A coffee at Pinkys Beach then lunch at the Rotto Pub. All in all a glorious day playing hooky from housework and other mundane chores we had lined up for today.
